Renault has revealed the prices for the much anticipated Renault Duster. The Duster has seen an overwhelming reaction from the market and received around 91% of the booking for the turbo petrol variants. Duster undercuts all major rivals like the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos and Tata Sierra by over Rs 1 lakh. The Duster's hybrid variants also have received great demand and Renault has closed the bookings for2026 due to production shortages.

Hyundai India has updated the Verna with a mild cosmetic facelift for 2026. It gets a slightly revised front fascia with new headlight and updated bumper design. Th interior sees minor feature updates and updates like an new steering wheel design. In general Verna remains the same sedan with no updates to the powertrain options.

Tata has updated Punch.ev with refreshed styling and updated features list. The car now also comes with two new battery pack options 30kWh & 40kWh replacing the 25kWh & 35kWh battery pack options respectively. Notably, the cars removes the connected daytime running lights which was present in the per-facelift car. The price has also been lowered by around 1 lakh depending on the variant. Punch.ev can also be purchased with BaaS option starting from 6.5 lakhs.

Volkswagen has launched its flagship car for the Indian market. It is names the Tayron and is a 7 seat SUV based on the Tiguan. Only the R-Line variant has been launched for now but regular variants will follow soon. Unlike the Tiguan, the Tayron is locally assembled keeping the costs under control. It bears a price tag of Rs.47,00,000 (ex. showroom).

The long awaited Maruti Suzuki e-Vitara has been launched with a starting price of Rs. 10,99,999 as the company's first EV in the Indian domestic auto market. The Rs. 10,99,999 starting price is with the BaaS program where there is an additional charge/km for the battery. The entire price list is yet to be revealed in due course of time. e-Vitara offers upto 60% buyback option after 5 years of ownership.

The Nissan Gravite has been launched as re-badged Renault Triber. It caries over the design cues from Triber barring a few new elements on the Nissan version. It also caries over the powertrain options and the equipment list. The Nissan Gravite undercuts the Renault Triber by Rs. 11,000 in price.

The Tata Punch has been given a comprehensive mid-lifecycle facelift with major design changes on the front and back getting it in line with Tata's latest gen designs. The interior is also updated with more equipment. Tata has also updated the power train by offering a 1.2L Turbo Petrol unit from the Nexon. Punch now also offers automatic transmission with the CNG variants.

Mahindra launched the electric derivative of the XUV 3XO compact SUV. It carrier over the same design as the ICE model barring a few bronze highlights. The XUV 3XO EV carrier over the battery pack options and the motors from the older XUV 400. A notable change compared to the XUV 400 is that XUV 3XO is a sub 4-metre car (like XUV 3XO) unlike the XUV 400.

Mahindra has given the XUV 700 a makeover after its initial launch in 2021. The XUV 700 has been renamed XUV 7XO to keep it in line with the brands naming strategy. Apart from this the car gets design changes on the front and back. It borrows a lot of elements from the XEV 9s including the taillights and the interior layout. The only mechanical change with the XUV 7XO is the addition of DaVinci damping for the suspension.
